Dr Ettore Taverna - Bio
Ettore Taverna is the Chief Surgeon at Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, Milan, and practices at the OBV Hospital, Mendrisio, Switzerland. He undertook a fellowship with Gary Gartsman at the Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston in 1995, and currently performs over 900 shoulder procedures each year. He has developed novel techniques of arthroscopic-assisted Latarjet and arthroscopic iliac crest bone graft techniques for instability, and specializes in sports surgery, including national and international athletes.
He is a past president of ESA (Shoulder Section of ESSKA), has been member of the Upper Limb Committee of ISAKOS, and the executive board of the Italian Arthroscopy Association (SIA). He regularly lectures at international shoulder meetings and convenes several courses and meetings for Orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, and physiotherapists. He was Chief Editor of the book ‘Shoulder Instability’, and is widely published in his field.

Dr Lionel Neyton - Bio
Lionel Neyton is a French fellowship trained shoulder surgeon from Centre Orthopédique Santy in Lyon. After completing a residency training program, he undertook a fellowship with Gilles Walch in 2003. Following three years practising with Pascal Boileau in Nice, he joined Gilles Walch at Centre Orthopédique Santy in 2006. His practice is exclusively dedicated to shoulder surgery (arthroscopy and arthroplasty), and his research in this field has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
He is a member of the French Orthopedic Society, French Shoulder and Elbow Society, French Arthroscopy Society, SECEC, and a corresponding member of ASES. He recently completed the ASES-SECEC shoulder travelling fellowship in 2014, and chaired a session on lateralization in reverse shoulder arthroplasty at SECEC Congress in Milan in September 2015.
